Catching a flight or waiting for someone? No.

Two weeks back, I had a random photo shoot at KLIA. To be exact, it is Viewing Gallery of Kuala Lumpur International Airport.

This is my first visit to the Viewing Gallery.

It was a breezy Sunday morning, with drizzle.

While passing through the walkway to Viewing Galley, this is what KLIA have at both left and right. Basically, it is the Contact Pier of International Level (Level 4)

And here we go, the Viewing Gallery.

Chairs or benches are placed at all over the place. People can always sit and enjoy stunning views of the Satellite Building and the routes of the aerotrain, including all the movements and activities taking place at the apron.

This Aerotrain transports passengers between the two terminals. The ride between the Main Terminal Building and Satellite Terminal A takes an estimated 5 minutes.

Most of planes here are belong to Malaysia Airlines as the Contact Pier is only for domestic and some MAS international flights only. The other jumbo jets like Singapore Airlines, Cathay Pacific and Emirates Airline are at the other end, Satellite Building.

There is limitation of Viewing Gallery, thus we can't have scenery of Satellite Building. Perhaps, the next time I go for international flight, I can capture more photos.

That concludes my short visit to KLIA. Maybe, I should ask the operator of KLIA to give me a chance to do a review for them. lol

If you were given a chance, what animal/living being superpowers would you want to get?

I want to have superpower from ring-tailed cat. This is not an ordinary cat that chases off mouse.


This ring-tailed cat has agility superpower.

I want to be there, Mount Everest

The ankle joint of the cat is flexible and able to rotate over 180 degrees, which makes it an agile climber. So, I definitely have no problem to climb Mount Everest and other peaks.

Their considerable tail provides balance for negotiating narrow ledges and limbs, even allowing them to reverse directions by performing a cartwheel. A cartwheel is not easy and I just can't do it without the superpower of this ring-tailed cat.

Yeah, how I wished to have the superpower of ring-tailed cat. I want to be fantawesome human with agility power.

Have you guys been in a charity event with children before? I assume yes.

Last Friday, I was given the chance by Resorts World Genting and Nuffnang to attend charity movie screening at the 1,860 m peak hill resort.

A total 15 Highlanders (I'm one of it) and 40 other social media fans were invited to usher 70 underprivileged kids from participating homes (Agape Home, Rumak KIRTARSH and Rumah K.I.D.S.) to participate in various activities.

Once we reached First World Hotel lobby, we had our breakfast. It is all sponsored by Starbucks. Chocolate drinks with Blueberry Cream Cheese and Apple Multigrain mini muffins. This combination will never go wrong.

Up next, we head to First World Cineplex for the main event of the day, Charity Movie Screening (Men In Black 3)

All the excitement from children were shown when given 3D glasses, bottle of water and snack bar. Just like them, I am also anticipating a good 3D movie. The verdict, I shall leave it in another post.

The screening ended around half past noon, and my tummy is growling. We should not be starved, right? No worries, as organiser has prepared a sumptuous buffet at First World Cafe. My expectation is lower than Coffee Terrace.

This is the gift that I prepared for children. Nice wrapper, huh? The girl who received from me, later thanked me for the gift. At that moment, I was stunned as she appreciated the gift very much. #successgift

After the lunch and gift session ended, we are given complimentary theme park passes. With this, all the rides in theme park are to be conquered.

Corkscrew, Pirate Ship, Pirate Train and lists go on. Well, I am still in good condition after those rides. #paleface

Since it was still early before rolling down the hill back KL, we hangout at Starbucks First World Plaza.

That is one of the most crowded outlets with kids, adults and even senior citizens.


A goodie bag for everyone. Woo-hoo! Most of us doesn't expect the token of appreciation from Resorts World Genting.

What we have in mind, is just spend a day with children and present a gift to them.

Kids enjoyed very much that day, as they smiled non-stop, of course NOT insane-lah! Although they come from different social backgrounds, they just are indifferent.

Hilarious and lame movie, satisfying breakfast and lunch and theme park entertainment in a single day. A great Friday indeed!

UPDATE May 2014: The opening of Palm Mall is on 18 June 2014. 

Tenant update: Pandora, Brand Outlets by Padini, J.CO Donuts & Coffee and Sketchers are among new brands that Palm Mall will offer to shoppers. Beside Black Canyon Coffee, Nando's, Papa John Pizza, Sakae Sushi, Shogun and Chatime are among new F&B brands for Seremban.

The news of mirror-less in washrooms of Palm Mall is not true at all as no 'ghosts' or supernatural things happened over there and all washrooms have mirror.

Seremban-ese will be welcomed by a new shopping mall and boutique hotel. It is the Palm Mall, located at entrance of Kemayan Square.

Touted to be the largest and most happening lifestyle mall in Seremban. We can expect a GSC cineplex with 3D screens, a 1,114sq m Celebrity Fitness fitness centre, fashion stores, alfresco-styled cafes and restaurants.

Celebrity Fitness has updated their latest outlet with address, Lot 2F-24, 2F-25 & 2F-26, 2nd Floor of this mall. It will be on the top floor of the mall.


As stated above, the net lettable area is whopping 450,000 square feet (10 percent of 1Utama gross lettable area). But to my disappointment, the anchor tenants comprise of supermarket, cinema and IT centre.

We need quality tenants (apparel and FB) that are well established in Klang Valley over here, although a drive to KL only takes 45 mins.

The targeted completion date is third quarter of the year. However the progress is seen to be slow. The exterior of the mall was painted with yellow recently with glass finish overlooking outside.

Just in past week, Starbucks launched new products which includes Red Velvet cake, Whoopie pies and Almond Ladies Fingers.

And I decided to have a try of Almond Ladies Fingers (ALF).

What caught my attention first? The name!!

It is said to be crunchy at outside and soft inside with cheese mocha filling.

On the top layer, there is dash of granulated sugar that give extra crunch to the top. The texture is soft, which makes no effort to bite. wtf

Served with Mocha Frappucino

Deep inside between two layers of sponge is cheese mocha filling. It is not too sweet but the flavour is lacking and not really up to my expectation.

It is not too soggy nor too dry, which I like. Balance is the word.

Overall it is still worth to have a try. One piece/slice will never be enough!

You know Jeremy Lin? He is an Asian American currently playing for NBA club, New York Knicks.

Ben & Jerry's created a vanilla-flavored frozen yogurt in honor of Lin named "Taste the Lin-Sanity". It contained lychee honey swirls and 'fortune cookie' pieces.

Many people perceived fortune cookie was racist where the ingredient serving as an obvious nod to Lin's heritage.

Ended up, Ben & Jerry's replaced the fortune cookies with waffle cookies. The reason given is "a couple of [pints] got returned because the cookies got so soggy."

To me, it's just a type of ingredients that may related to Chinese. Even ice cream can be a racism issue. lol

I want to taste the fortune cookie ice cream!

Heavy downpour this evening caused Seremban town to be flooded. I am still looking for information about the flood. My curiosity grows the moment I saw the photo as no news broke out about the flood.

Been in my hometown for years, this is the 'first' time Seremban flooded.

From the photos shared at Facebook, I can say heavy rain caused Sg Temiang, a river runs across the town center to overflow.

I am sure damages from this flood cost more than we can expect. I will be going back to Seremban tomorrow, so make sure no second time *fingers crossed.

Lets hope than local authorities can solve this problem from occurring. And people please stop throwing rubbish into the river!
