Down south of Malaysia, there will be a new attraction. It is the Johor Premium Outlets.

Johor Premium Outlets (JPO), a shopping haven joint-venture project between Genting Bhd and Simon Property Group, is scheduled for a grand opening on December 11.

JPO features more than 80 designer-brand stores.

What is Premium Outlets?
Premium Outlets is a portfolio of outlet shopping centers which brings together the finest brands in unique outdoor settings and offers impressive savings of 25 to 65 percent every day. Each center is a shopping attraction and destination in its own right offering:

I guess the main difference of JPO with Pavilion KL and Starhill Gallery is it offers whopping savings of 25 to 65 percent every day and more toward open store concept.

Besides, it is the first of its kind in Southeast Asia. Rest in the world, around 50 in US, 8 in Japan, 3 in South Korea and 1 in Mexico.
