Malaysia Airlines load factor

By Matt Siow - April 10, 2015

Post recovery of twin disaster for Malaysia Airlines on last year, the load factor for our national carrier is at stake.

But based my observation from return flight to Langkawi recently, the load factor is at least 75% (2013: 85%). Despite that during my flight, business class is not taken up by passengers.

Short haul flight to Jakarta, Indonesia also saw a great load factor of 80% with business travellers and mixture of locals and tourists.

As conclusion, they are recovering well with brisk sales to popular destination within country, regionally (except China) and European continent.
