Now I'm back for my second sem, so fast my holiday ends. Missed home although just came back.

In my mind is really a big question. I quarrelled with her yesterday, because of inconsiderate words she used.

Really it was so bad to have anger since my holiday, but finally it was released. She just care about herself, not others. My mom spends unlimited time and uncountable money for her. I knew a lot of bad things she did to my family.

Did I really quarrel? I just say the truth and she don't like it is her problem. If I'm given the second chance, I'll do the same. She always ''cakap tak serupa bikin''. I never allowed anyone criticised my family.<

Maybe my action is wrong, yet I'm willing to bear the responsibilities. Apologise.. I haven't think about it.

Precious Black which features charcoal powder butter pastry skin with wolfberries are all sold out. Their mooncake is selling like hot cakes, why don't give a try of other brands (Casahana). Price of a piece maybe costly but major hypermarkets are slashing their price for last week.


Arguably I'm in good mood when post about mooncake over here, but now left in despair. I will be in line with everyone for the best and quality post.

This weekend most of Chinese will celebrate the Mooncake festival. My previous of Burst of flavours already mentioned mostly about Tai Thong mooncakes. Kindly be reminded, their quality have deteriorated over time, so make a smart choice this year.



As a result of the drop in quality, I recommend all of you out there to try Casahana or Hei Yue Thong and The Baker's Cottage mooncake.

From my analysis, this two brands are topmost in market. The reasons are simple; it is tasty and fresh.

Casahana

Charcoal Baked Yam is mixture of black skin with red bean paste and egg yolk made of yam. The taste is rich but I prefer yam filling in the core. Rating: 4.5 out 5

Bamboo charcoal hazelnut
Bamboo Charcoal Hazelnut has chocolate egg yolk with hazelnut blend as main filling. The skin is typically black as made of charcoal paste. It may has some bitter taste. Rating: 4.8 out 5

Golden baked lemon tea
Golden Baked Lemon Tea is one of my favourite this year. Strong smell and perfect combination; the filling is lotus seed and blend of lemon and ice tea in the middle. It will suit well with a glass of ice lemon tea. Rating: 4.8 out 5

Red Yeast Japanese Sweet Potato
Red Yeast Japanese Sweet Potato is most natural flavour mooncake of all. The skin is made of yam purplish in colour and yam filling. You can taste the natural ingredients used in it. Rating: 4.5 out 5

Yeah, end for my exam. Just back from Kampar and the whole North South Expressway is packed with vehicles and slow movement.

Over here, I need to highlight important never use emergency lane during traffic jam.

They thought they are in rush or have authority to use it, so annoying.
You know why, because of slow traffic, drivers tend to sweep into the lane and finally got caught by police patrolling.

According to Pulut Udang Panas seller Azmee Yusoff, he uses recipe from Northern states like Perak, Penang and Kedah to make the special cuisine berbuka puasa.

"Prawn, sambal cili and coconut are cook together with pulut. It was later grilled for about 10 minutes," said Azmee who is helped by his wife.

Pulut Udang Panas is sold for RM0.50 each.

Besides that, kuih Tepung Pelita Istimewa from Paya Jaras is also sold at this bazaar ramadan. It was hot sale like pisang goreng. Seller Sulaiman Baharum said, he can sells up to 20 trays of that in a day. Each tray contains 80 pcs of kuih.

HONG KONG superstar Andy Lau was finally seen paying his last respects to his girlfriend Carol Chu’s father.

Chinese dailies said Lau was seen at a memorial ceremony in front of the elder Chu’s grave at the Hokkien Cemetery in Kuala Lumpur on Monday.

This time, he was without any “shield” or sunglasses. However, there were three security men at the entrance of the cemetery.

It was reported in major Chinese dailies that Lau was wearing a white T-shirt and a pair of jeans although Guang Ming Daily had managed to take exclusive pictures of Lau at the cemetary.

The photographs were however taken from afar and were grainy and all of them only showed the side of his face and body.

The dailies quoted a worker at the cemetery as saying that Lau had arrived at about 9am with Chu, her five siblings and two brothers-in-law. They left 30 minutes later after a simple ceremony.

During the funeral, a man believed to be Lau was hidden from view by an umbrella-carrying brigade.

The Ocen Seafood Restaurant is anything but posh, but it has its own rustic charm. Built on stilts and overlooking the sea, it is situated beside Lover’s Bridge, a name locals have given to the Tanjung Sepat jetty in Selangor.

Among the popular menu are chilli crabs, claypot beancurd, fish ball soup, steamed white pomfret, sweet and sour prawns, clams in Chinese wine, deepfried chicken with Thai kerabu, oh chien (oyster omelette), stirfried vegetables, and of course white rice and Chinese tea.

One other pleasing dish was the claypot tofu which resembled a thick soup of eggs, crabmeat, shitake mushrooms and broken pieces of white tofu. There were contrasting opinions to this dish.

One diner thought it didn’t look very attractive while another slurped it up with relish. One said the corn flour-thickened broth was reminiscent of shark fins’ soup and with a dash of dark vinegar, it made for a pleasant starter.

My personal experience, I have went there twice and the last visit should be somewhere January. Of all the dishes in menu, clams in Chinese wine is my favourite as their clams are big and juicy with exotic wine flavour together.
