The Tanjong Pagar railway station ceases its operation on June 30, 2011 with much celebrated and flashlights welcoming all passengers arriving/departing at the station.

I felt sad to see its closure after being used since 1932, and I definitely will miss my only visit to the station on December last year. However, next visit to the Lion City, I will not miss the chance to visit the station with a different identity, that is a national heritage building or museum.
